Dubin Lecture

Thursday, November 26, 2015 | 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Program Description:

In 1996, on the occasion of his leaving the office of Chief Justice of Ontario, the members of The Advocates’ Society wished to honour an outstanding member of the profession, the Honourable Charles L. Dubin, Q.C., by establishing a fund to permanently endow “The Charles L. Dubin Lecture on Advocacy.”

The Trustees of the Fund choose a distinguished speaker in the field of advocacy to deliver a lecture to the members of the profession. This is a fitting tribute to the Chief Justice in light of his commitment to the pursuit of the highest levels of advocacy.

Lecturer:

The Honourable Albert (Albie) Sachs, Constitutional Court of South Africa
